Been replaying MGSV and decided to think out loud here for my own benefit.

1. DLC items: The game has a handful for DLC items and outfits that don't add much and, most of which, aren't that cool. We got this olive darb revolver, a white sub-machine gun thing. The Adamska special is pretty cool, it's one of the pistols Ocelot used in Snake Eater, engravings and all. This falls in line with the DLC outfits like the soviet sneaking suits and Snake's jungle fatigues. I'd add more weapons from past MGS games, Snake Eater especially. Eva's Mauser, The End's Mosin Nagant and The Boss's Patriot would all be awesome to have. Or at least cooler than the ones we got. But I suppose cooler DLC items wouldn't be cooler than...cool DLC.

2. Mission 51: I won't dwell on this because it's obvious but yeah, all story lines where resolves except the group of child soldiers (one of which having psychic powers) hijacking a giant war mech. The stripper-sniper get's a resolution, the crippled-cuck get's a resolution, even the flaming-russian get's a resolution. But nope, this is left on the way side.

3. Quiet's Exit. Overall, I thought Quiet's story was okay, and the ending was pretty bad-ass, but from a gameplay standpoint it's a mess. First: You start the mission and can't back out. Once it's on, you can;t go back to the ACC. You can still develop things on the iDroid and do combat deployment missions, but if you're not ready for the shit that goes down you are boned. Then the mission itself goes on for just a bit too long, but I will admit taking down a dozen tanks and AFVs was bad ass

But in the end, Quiet gives her life and is no longer a buddy. They removed what many consider the best buddy, and didn't give you a way to get her back until a later update. For someone who got this game on launch date, it was frustrating to say the least. Then to get her back you need to replay her debut mission 7 times. Not only is it tedious, even with things like stealth cameo and d-dog to mark her, but each time you play the mission the GMP reward goes down, meaning you'll eventually start losing GMP each time you play it.

What I would've done: Made her ending mission a little easier, knock off two or three tanks. Then to get her back, maybe add a side op or find her hiding somewhere in Afghanistan. Or maybe replay "Cloaked in Silence" but instead of carrying her on the helicopter, leave the hot zone on land. Either make getting her back challenging or secretive, not tedious. Also, ADD IT TO THE GAME ON RELEASE DATE.

4. Battle Gear: It was originally gonna be deployment in the overworld, but that mechanic was scrapped because it broke the game. I can understand, it was essentially gonna be a metal gear, and in an open world MGS game, you'd want to wreck havoc with a Metal Gear. Especially when the protagonist has built and will build more in the timeline. However, Battle Gear was left in the game as a combat deployment vehicle. There's a series of sort of "required" CD missions that yield things like emblem parts and weapon blueprints. Battle Gear is used in some of these. Pretty cool, but my issue is how the game builds up BG. You get cutscenes and conversations that build it up the same way Peacewalker built up Zeke, maybe even more so. However, after the un-intuitive combat deployments, Battle Gear has literally no other uses. You can't even customize mech load-outs for combat deployments, so it can't be reused. Personally, I would've removed Battle Gear entirely. It builds up to very little gameplay and story-wise. However, I will admit D-Walker was a cool way of letting us use a metal gear in-game without breaking the game. Controls well, has cool customizations and keeps the game interesting without making it too-easy.

5. Weapons Development. It got a bit overwhelming having so many different weapons of so many different ranks, when there where so little difference between them all. How many models of assault rifles are there? It's like every combination of scope, mag, stock and other accessory exists as it's one set-up, when we can customize each gun the way we want. Well, at least until we get the Legendary Gunsmith after 3 side ops.

My Solution: Instead of developing new rifles with different attachments, just develop the attachments themselves and give us customization from the beginning, or at least immediately after a set number of missions (like how the different units get unlocked). Only upgrade the weapon itself if it's something that improves rate of power or penetration. Everything else like scopes, barrels, magazines, stocks, etc. each get there own development projects.

6. The ending: Watch this Yongyea video, he explains it better than I could.

7. iDroid: A minor thing, but whenever I use the iDroid that blue color scheme gets kinda tiresome. It'd be cool id we could customize that.

8. The "Hard Mode" Missions. I kinda like the concept of these, but I sorta feel it was just a way to pad out the game. like we could've had 50 unique missions, but instead we got these repeat missions. But for all I know this is the same situation as clone characters in Smash Bros. Extra things because they're just that. Extra. They could've just not have done it.

9. Animal Conservation Platform: Wouldn't it be cool to maybe go inside the Zoo you've built and see all the animals captured in cages? Like the turtles and lizards in a more aquarium setting. Sadly, most of the capture cage animals are relegated to just images with no 3D models.

10. Lastly, just a little aesthetic addition. You know how when you're in the ACC and you can see your weapons handing on the wall? And if you have Quiet or D-Dog as your buddy, they'll be there to? I'd maybe add something to indicate D-Horse and D-Walker are your current buddies too. Obviously they can fit in the chopper, but maybe put a saddle on an empty seat for D-Horse and a set of keys for D-Walker. Something like that.
Holy shit I gotta talk about this show, and a deviantart journal is the best place to do it. seen by everyone and yet no one.

Mighty Magiswords is a series of shorts on the CN website and has been picked up for a full series, airing in September. It's one of the goofiest, most fast paced shows the network has put out in recent memory. And that's saying something. It's a spoof of Dungeon and Dragons type fantasy. To give an idea about the plot, the original titles where "Legendary Warriors for Hire" and "Dungeons and Day Jobs". There's plenty of short webisodes on CN's Youtube, so there's no reason to not check them out.

There's so much to say. The comedy is so quick, if a joke doesn't work (which is more often then i'd like to admit) another one comes in and makes up for it before you can dwell. the art style is pretty good, though the fact is stands out against other CN shows like We Bare Bears and PPG (which look pretty similar) helps it stand out.

The actual animation is rather stilted at times, and they often reuse clips. But considering this is an original product created by a relative newcomer in the animation industry, I would be surprised if the budget was smaller than Scooby Doo's. Maybe if season one does well, season 2 will get a better budget.

And props to the creator, Kyle Carrozza. He does so much for his creation. Not only does he write and direct, he voices the male lead along with other characters and composes the music. And like a said before, he's a relative newcomer to the industry. Besides an original short for Random! Cartoons, he's worked on the new SpongeBob movies, and Fanboy & Chum Chum.

So CN is taking a big risk giving this guy his own show. Not only does he have little experience in the industry, but it's a brand new product in the midst of CN going through reboot-fever. Carrozza, you've been given a golden opportunity. Don't fuck it up. And never give Vambre pants.

I know my thoughts here are disjointed, but I just wanted to get some things in writing.

This is to reply to your recent comment on my profile where you decide in your infinite wisdom to slander me:

"quit faving random stuff just for exposure. makes you less of an artist and more of an attention whore." -- You.

First of all your opinion doesn't matter to me at all. Quite frankly to me are an insignificant pony thumping prick. If your age is correct (Which I doubt it is) it would be pretty sad that you don't have anything going for you... Anyways child. You must not know how the world works. If you want something you work hard at it. I sure know your parents know what that means. They have jobs. I have a job too. You? From the looks of your journals it appears that you go to school, come home and then wack off to what ever Nintendo game your mommy or daddy bought you this week. If you're not wacking off to that then it's what ever episode of My Little Pony that you are watching.

Also just to be clear on something, I know exactly what you're going to do. You're going to finish reading this and then reply back with what ever you can come up with, then you're probably going to block me so you have the last word so you can think that you won at once. You really didn't. Hypothetically speaking if I put this out there on a poll, my response to your question and you actions, regardless of anything you have to say you're going to look stupid. This is essentially the same thing as if someone holds a door open and you yell at them for it. That right there is you. But anyways feel free to read the rest of this to get an idea of whatever comeback you can think of...in fact, I already know what you're going to say and I have my counter argument already prepared, that way you can save your precious fingers from typing out how much of a meanie I am.

"Oh no, one person doesn't like me." -- What I imagine your counter argument would get at because you think I am a prestigious dick

Psshh. Get real for a second. There are plenty of people that don't like me, what I do, and how I do what I do. Get to the back of the line where you belong. I'm not at all concerned when someone doesn't like something that I say or do. I have the watchers I do because I work hard at it. I am published already, worked on a steam game, have my own job and business and this is what I do on the side for fun. My photography has been used in the replication of historic items that have been on display at the white house. Unless you can piss out a legitimate argument
sideways down sunset boulevard on how my art is less artistic because I have the knowledge on how to get attention and have a following and how to do it well, I suggest you seek medical attention to remove your head from your own ass.
